In his youth, Taylor happened upon a Sandshrew that sparkled in Pokémon Gold; he thought nothing of it and knocked it out. He later learned that that was a Shiny Pokémon: a differently-coloured variant with just a 1 in 8,192 chance of appearing... Needless to say, he's on a quest to reclaim that Sandshrew, alongside plenty of other adventures whose tales he thrills us with here: streaming for hours on end in an attempt to find so-called Jim the Delibird, the incredible collection of gaming paraphernalia he and his wife have, his daughter immediately finding a Shiny Tandemaus in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet - and, of course, the 6 Pokémon most special to Taylor that he would choose for his Dream Team.
